SPECIAL CALLED MEETING

MAYOR TOM LEPPERT, PRESIDING

 

PRESENT:      [15]   Leppert, Caraway (*8:56 a.m.), Medrano, Jasso, Neumann, Hill (*9:36 a.m.), Salazar (*8:12 a.m.), Davis (*8:42 a.m.), Atkins (*9:36 a.m.), Kadane, Allen, Koop, Natinsky, Margolin, Hunt

The meeting was called to order at 8:03 a.m.

 

The assistant city secretary announced that a quorum of the city council was present.

 

The invocation was given by Councilmember Kadane

 

Councilmember Neumann led the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

The meeting agenda, which was posted in accordance with Chapter 551, "OPEN MEETINGS," of the Texas Government Code, was presented.

After all business properly brought before the city council had been considered the city council adjourned at 10:36 a.m.

                        by City Officials.

 

The city attorney briefed the city council on the item.

 

The following individuals addressed the city council regarding the item:

      Dallas Cothrum, 900 Jackson, representing Masterplan

      Tommy Mann, 5400 Renaissance Tower

      Barry Knight, 5400 Renaissance Tower

At 9:39 a.m., Mayor Leppert announced the closed session of the city council authorized by Chapter 551, "OPEN MEETING," of the (Texas Open Meetings Act) to discuss the following matters:

-           Legal issues involving campaign contribution restrictions

 

Mayor Leppert reconvened the city council meeting after the closed session at 10:12 a.m.  No other matters were discussed during the closed session.
