5.         *     A resolution (1) authorizing an extension of the joint election agreement and election services contract between the City of Dallas, other jurisdictions, and Dallas County for the conduct of a runoff election to be held on Saturday, May 31, 2003, and; (2) authorizing an increase in appropriations in the amount of $687,500 in the City Secretary's Office Elections budget to cover the estimated cost of the runoff election under the joint election contract with Dallas County - Not to exceed $687,500, from $687,500 to $1,375,000 - Financing: Contingency Reserve Funds    [03-1307; DELETED]

 

 

6.         *     A resolution authorizing the Mayor to appoint an ad hoc City Council canvassing committee to review the returns of the May 31, 2003, runoff election and submit a canvass report to the full City Council on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 - Financing:  No cost consideration to the City   [03-1308; APPROVED]

 

7.         Authorize hardship relief for Home Depot U.S.A. Inc. on property located at 2600 Ft. Worth Avenue from the Ft. Worth Avenue moratorium on the acceptance of applications for building permits and certificates of occupancy for certain uses previously authorized by Resolution No. 03-1021 on March 26, 2003, and a resolution accepting deed restrictions volunteered by the applicant - Financing: No cost consideration to the City   [03-1309; DEFERRED UNTIL 05/21/03]

 

8.         Authorize hardship relief for Maria Gomez on property located at 1004 Ft. Worth Avenue from the Ft. Worth Avenue moratorium on the acceptance of applications for building permits and certificates of occupancy for certain uses previously authorized by Resolution No. 03-1021 on March 26, 2003 - Financing: No cost consideration to the City   [03-1310; APPROVED]

 

9.         Authorize the City Manager to initiate the process of selection for a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals project delivery method for the completion of the Dallas Zoo Restaurant and Main Entry Bridge construction - Financing:  No cost consideration to the City   [03-1311; APPROVED]
